The Portal Clipping Module extends the Kapow Web Data Server to wrap existing web applications (Intranet, B2B and consumer facing) into JSR-168 compliant portlets for direct deployment to major J2EE portal platforms like IBM WebSphere Portal, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebLogic Portal and others.

It works by cutting and combining live pieces of existing dynamic and static web presentation layer, and repurposing them into portlets with new user credentials, layout and style.

The Kapow Web Data Server emulates a full browser in the RoboServer to ensure all JavaScript, framesets, etc, work as if they were still embedded in the full original application being driven by a normal user in a web browser.
